          Excellent. They show up OK without the flash plugin?

            Nope, none of them except the OT one shows up and only the single Embed video appears now.

            Since this is a new system I cleared all the caches and installed the FF Adobe Flash Player and they all worked.

            Ah, OK. I was hoping that by eliminating the 'type' parameter in the embed tag that it would just let the browser handle it. The difference may be the HTML element used — the OT vid is handled via an iframe element rather than embed element. Bah, all this newfangled web technology *old man shaking fist*

            That reminds me of the time I was babysitting my friends cats and broke their kitchen ceiling fan while attempting to entertain them with fishing line and some sort of random objects.

            Ha! No judgment here, I've whacked a Wii controller with the fan blades a couple of times.
